Duties include but not limited to:
- Solicit group, transient and/or banquet business, and reach consistent achievement of sales objectives
- Strategically develop sales plans as per market requirements that reflect the hotel's image and attract awareness.
- Develop appropriate client relations and databases to ensure achieving the sales objectives.
- Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices and seal contracts
- Ability to analyze trends to gain an advantage over the competitors.
- Participate in tradeshows, conventions, and promotional events.
- Maintain accounts, contacts, and business details.
- Develop effective sales strategies for all segments.
- Establish good relationships with the travel industries to enhance business opportunities.
- Ensure all advertisements and communications align with brand standards and policies.
- Allocate and follow up general sales initiatives with the sales team.
- Ensure the hotel meets its budget goals.
- Assist in the development of external promotions.
- Organize sales calls with the team to acquire new business.
